The house is still a complete disaster from the tower of presents, plastic cups, chairs all over the house, etc etc etc. But, I at least got the dishes (mostly) done today! And I did get the presents sorted into an Essie pile and an Ivy pile…although, all three of them sort of ran over the piles after I was finished, so now they’re more like scattered blobs. T. is away on a job for a few days, and I have three jewelry shows this weekend, so my goal is definitely to have the mess cleaned up in the next couple of days. We’ll see.
On a side note, I got a lot of my brand new jewelry samples today from the 2010-11 collection!! It was like Christmas!
Here are a few more pictures from the big birthday party. I have a video of my dear, 30-year-old husband going on the slip and slide, but the darn thing is taking forever to upload. You may see it in the future, however, if I can figure out how to get it here. Suffice it to say, he is bigger than your average 5-year-old slip and slider, but enjoyed it just as much (until the next day, when he could barely move).

This is the tower of presents. I know it’s just material, but it seems as if my girls are loved! |

It was chaos! Pure chaos. |

The cakes! |

Baby especially loved the sprinkles. |

And she somehow got frosting from her head to her toes. |

My little princess. |

First birthday cake bath! Before the frosting was washed off of baby’s face… |

And after. She’s clean! |
