Holy cow. Week 7 already?!
It’s been pretty eventful.
Feb. 12
Sunday was Secret Valentine day at church, where the kids meet the person who’s been sending them Valentines for a couple of weeks. We went out to lunch afterwards (I have to put two pictures here, since all the kids won’t fit into one).
Feb. 13
Ivy “teached” Essie how to get in and out of her crib. By herself. So she wouldn’t have to ask daddy to get her a book (she could get it herself). Wasn’t that helpful?! So, out of nowhere (I was totally NOT prepared), Essie got to sleep in a big girl bed/converted crib. (Yes, she’s a hoarder, just like her sister)
Feb. 14
Essie and I went to Ivy’s preschool Valentine’s party. She is always so excited to see her big sister, and act like a big girl, too.
Feb. 15
T. and I both went to get blood tests done to try to see which one of us has Celiac Disease. I’m not going to lie….no matter the outcome, I was nervous. The girls went with us and we went out to eat afterward.
As of Saturday, we still don’t have the results back.
Feb. 16
T.’s grandmother passed away last weekend and we went to the funeral. Between all of the “visiting” (as my family calls it), I got together with some family members who are gluten free and gleaned as much information from them in a few hours as I possibly could, including some of their favorites products.
Feb. 17
Ervin got his sixth tooth and Henry lost his first tooth. Seriously, I had no idea his tooth was that loose! I thought someone had knocked it out or something. And he didn’t even tell me when he got home from school, I just noticed it. What is that about?!

After this week, I feel the same way:
