So, we’ve been home with the baby for about an hour and a half.
He was hungry when we got home (of course) so I sat down in the living room to feed him.
He then started to fill his pants.
I said to the big two “you guys, your baby brother can eat and poop and the SAME TIME!”
Ivy looked at me and said “eat and poop?”
I said “yep.”
She looked at him eating and said “what’s that?”
I (trying to think of what to call it that would be okay when they yelled it in the grocery store or something) said “it’s my…boob.”
“He’s eating on it?”
“He’s drinking milk.”
She thought hard for a minute…”do you drink a lot of milk?”
For the longest time, I just told my girls "it's part of my body". The less ammo they have for the grocery store, the better in my opinion.
HAHA! Love it. Love it. Honesty is always best and even cuter when their innocence comes out at the grocery store.Could you email me your address? Thanks 🙂
It reminds me of the time Teddy asked me if Peter could drink chocolate milk when I was nursing him. Kids are adorable!Completely off topic, I just awarded you the Versatile Blogger Award. I'm not sure if you've received one before, or if you're even familiar with it. But you can check out what I wrote about your blog and see the award over on my blog post: Someone Really Likes Me! (I hate spamming, and this kind of feels like it, but I really wanted you to know how much I enjoy your blog!)
