It’s been raining today, and just now, at 5:00pm, I’m able to get on the Internet. I really don’t have that much patience, and have had a lot of things I’ve wanted to do today, but I have just been waiting.

My birthday was on Saturday, and I entered a whole new decade. I’m still getting used to it. Thank you to everyone who passed along birthday wishes! It made my day. And I did have a great weekend. It started with the Pumpkin Patch/Fall Festival on Friday, and that was a lot of fun. On Saturday morning, T. made us all chocolate chip waffles in the waffle iron and gave me a pair of diamond earrings. Early Saturday afternoon, I had a really fun show and met some great ladies (one of which has decided that she’d like to become a jeweler!). I came home to the kids and T. playing in the yard and having a lot of fun….we packed up and went out for pizza then came home and played outside some more. Sunday afternoon, my mom watched the kids while T. and I went out for a LONG awaited date. We saw the movie “The Social Network” which was really good, went to Target for some last minute birthday party supplies for next weekend, and then went out to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse. The meal was great and I’m sure, horribly fattening. But when you’re not allowed a big margarita or mojito with your birthday dinner, you have a eat a Shrimp and Lobster Dip appetizer. It’s, like, a rule.

Here is one picture from the Pumpkin Patch…there are more but the Internet is still being fickle, so they’ll come later.
