If we’re friends on Facebook, it’d be impossible for you not to know that we got a new puppy this week. My friend’s dog had a litter of them, and when we dropped by her house recently, we fell in love. (Thanks, Nikki!)
Yes, I already have my hands full with all the kids and the animals, but we live in the country, no one wears diapers anymore, and well, I feel like we can handle the responsibility.
Plus, puppy love. It’s real.
Her name is Louise, and we call her Lou or Lulu. She’s a tiny little snuggle bug, part Chihuahua, part Pomeranian, part other things. And sweet as pie.
And I didn’t take this, the husband did, but it was at the girls’ birthday party a week and a half ago, and I thought it was perfect for the prompt (that’s Erv looking up at grandpa on the huge trampoline).

Next week’s prompt is LOVE (oh goodness).
*I* am in love with Lulu! She's adorable!
It's so hard not to fall in love with her. She's a sweetheart.
Oh my goodness… your puppy is adorable! I want another dog so badly. hehe!
It's hard to NOT want one once you've fallen in love!!
Louise is ADORABLE, makes me want to run out and get a snuggly little puppy too! So, so, so cute!
She's SUCH a snuggler!
There is NO improving Lulu.
She's perfection.
She is. And she'll be even more perfect once she's housetrained. 😉
Oh now – I've got puppy love now too!! and my kids want a cat.
perfect shot. I just love how kids look up to us: literally and figuratively. especially with that look of both awe and just complete love and devotion: it's so amazing. great capture.
Thank you so much! Puppy love is very, VERY real.
I love Lulu already…she's the cutest. Oh my heart, because no one could say no to her.
I loved both shots…they showed us looking up in two great ways. 🙂
She is so stinking cute. And you're right…she pretty much gets what she wants.
[…] And then. We brought the baby girl home. […]
