I enjoyed this prompt. I only wish that my camera lens (a 30mm) would let me get just alittlebit closer to the baby blues that I snapped away at all week.
I have blue eyes (both of my parents do, too) and all four kids have them, too…although, the shades vary greatly. Henry and Ivy have light blue like their dad (Henry’s sometimes even have goldish specks), while Essie’s are dark and bright and Erv’s seem to be somewhere in between. T has brown eyes and feels very much left out sometimes (actually, he wishes that some of his spawn took after him in that department).
Here are my favorites:
(Ivy took that last picture of me so I could try to show my eyes for comparison. Not bad for an almost 7 year old, right?)

Next week’s prompt is COZY.
You guys have such beautiful eyes!!
Brown eyes are boring, for the record 😉
You all have gorgeous blue eyes. I have muddy brown, but my husband has the most amazing and gorgeous blue eyes. Our older daughter has a steel grey blue color for her eyes, but our youngest, who had the most gorgeous blue eyes as a baby eventually turned to brown. I saw it coming as the outer portion began to turn and was so hoping it wasn't happening, but little by little they did indeed become brown. Still, she has beautiful eyes, just not blue anymore.
So many blue eyes! Ivy rocked that photo of you! Seriously!
i LOVE seeing all their eyes! The boys and I have blue eyes too. Cortney's are hazel.
I am fascinated by blue eyes, and you have all the blues going on in your family. They are all striking in different ways.
We have shades of brown eyes in our family. Mine are the darkest and everyone else sort of lightens up from there.
