Summer break has started! I’m both excited and scared! But really, we have a lot of fun things planned, plus plenty of down time, so it should be good.

I finished the weekend with the Mamavation 5K (and ended the #2weekchallenge). I tried really, really hard to get a PR, and it was close (but no cigar). With the 2 week challenge and other workouts (thank you, Jillian Michaels), I feel stronger and my runs seem like…less work? I can at least run faster (I use the term very loosely) for a longer amount of time.

The little two were home with me all day this week, until the big two finished school, so we dropped some stuff off in town and met their daddy for lunch.

Ivy’s birthday is in July, so she got the celebrate her birthday at school early.

Busy, busy, busy.

Last day of school for the big two! They’ve grown so much in the last nine months….it’s crazy.
May 23
We kicked off summer break with a sunny morning and lunch at the park. Every single child got hurt, somehow, but they still had fun.

The big two are going to overnight camp next week, and since Ivy is gluten free, we had to get food for her to eat while she’s there. Somehow, instead of just her and I going, I ended up taking three of the four. Shenanigans.
Yay summer break!
I loved seeing the pictures. It's nice to have kids young enough to still cuddle. I get a few, but I get shaken off quite a bit too. 😉
Wishing you all a great summer!!! We still have to finish this week and half of next. Then I have a few days off and start camp right away on Monday the 9th and will be working through the summer. But I'm excited and so are the kids!!! 🙂
Thanks, Susi! I hope you have a great summer, too!
I cannot believe Summer is here already! We are still trying to find things to fill our schedule this summer, looks like your summer is already off to a good and busy start!
OMG that last picture. How did he manage to wedge himself in there?
