The longer I do this during the winter the less interesting my life feels.
Feb. 2
We sort of watched the Super Bowl, but when the halftime show came on, some of us were really, really interested.
Feb. 3
I didn’t get to my long run last weekend (I usually do it on Sundays), so I had to make it up on Monday afternoon. Better late than never, right?
Feb. 4
The first snow day! It started snowing around lunchtime and didn’t stop. It was also really cold so we stayed inside and made snow ice cream.
Feb. 5
The second snow day!
And the day I made the kids let me take a picture of them in their footie pajamas. Worth it.
And then my mom came over to hang out with them, and I went outside to shovel snow. And more snow. And some more after that (I’m still sore). She brought her iPad and cuteness happened.
Feb. 6
The third snow day. And the first day that the girls actually started fighting.
Also the day Henry’s Spy Adventure kit came in the mail and occupied him for an hour.
Feb. 7
Back to school! Where the snow drifts were taller than the children (only in the formerly grassy areas, of course).
Feb. 8
I spent the day in KC for Blogging Concentrated, which was awesome and chock full of information. I’m working on a brand new project, and had so many questions (and asked them, for sure). Also, everything from snacks to lunch to dessert was gluten free. AWESOME.
You survived the snow days! And yay for leaning stuff at a conference. So excited for you and your new project!
We did! So, the snow is welcome to melt ANYTIME. For real.
Thanks, Alison!
Your life seems pretty interesting even if you don't think so. Good luck with your new project, can't wait to hear more about it.
Thank you, Julia! I'm sure it won't seem as boring when we look back on it all.
What a great week! The snow is like that here as well. Do you run every day?
SO much snow. Ugh. It's supposed to warm up above freezing this week…fingers crossed that some of it melts!!!
I don't run every day, but I try to run about four times a week.
The snow ice cream looks like so much yummy fun!
Can't wait to hear more about your new project.
It WAS yummy fun! Thanks, Tracie!
note to self: have ice cream and footie pjs for next snow day. because that is Awesome!
It WAS awesome. I've loved snow ice cream since I as a kid, and it's SO easy to make.
Footy pajamas! I love that photo! We have no footy pajamas in my house now and I miss them.
Your snow days look awesome and fun!
The footies. Totally worth it.
