So, it’s February already. I kind of feel there wasn’t much happening in January, except cold. And cold. And some more cold.
Jan. 26
A nice afternoon called for a long run outside.
Jan. 27
Watching the trash truck.
Jan. 28
The end of a long day called for hot chocolate and a movie (The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Have you seen it??).
Jan. 29
You’d never be able to tell from this face that her little brother was having an epic tantrum in his bed while she and I ate lunch.
Jan. 30
Erv has found himself a new spot recently. And then he likes to say “look at me!” so I have to look up at him. He thinks it’s pretty hilarious.
Jan. 31
It started snowing Friday, as the kids were getting ready for school. Usually, it happens at night, so the kids haven’t experienced it actually coming from the sky in a while.
Feb. 1
I spent the afternoon grocery shopping, and if it wasn’t for this boy’s help putting things away, I’d probably be on the evening news. Ahem.
Our neighbors teenage girl loves that movie and I mean LOVES it! I haven't seen it yet. Love Erv's new snuggle spot.
Your kids are so stinkin' cute!!!
looks like a great week. You got outside and had some down time.
I definitely want to see that movie!
hot cocoa is pretty much a daily pleasure – perhaps even necessity around here.
and what is it about the garbage truck? My kids get so sad that it comes during the day when they are in school — but all summer long, they run to the window. My daughter even wanted to run out and help one day. Really? You can't pick up your own toys off the floor – but you're going to help the garbage man? LOL
Your children are precious. I love Erv's new trick. The simple things are the best.
I love the catching snowflakes photo! I love being outside when it is flurrying.
And yes, how is it February? 🙂
Cute pics! I LOVE that the animal hats are still making an appearance. 🙂
I'm jealous that you got a nice day to run outside. We have been covered w/soooo much snow since before Christmas that it's just crazy running outside.
Isn't it weird how all you can think of January is cold, even though you were in Florida at the start of the month, I feel the same way. Like I could not have possibly been somewhere warm.
