This week was kind of uneventful…I actually don’t remember much about it. We didn’t do much (again). But I took pictures of us not doing much, so…
Jan. 19
Erv protected our house, valiantly.
Jan. 20
Since it was MLK Jr Day and the kids didn’t have school, we spent the day with my mom. We went to lunch and had (gluten free) pizza, then spent some time (and money) at the Toy Store (where all of the kids picked out books, too).
And then we went to an indoor play place where they have a rock climbing wall, a big bounce pillow, dress up clothes, a room for dancing, and art room, a huge play/climbing equipment section, and more.

The kids. Indoors. Brotherly love.
Jan. 22
The girls played with Kinetic Sand, which we got at the Toy Store. It looks like regular sand but sticks together and not on anything else. It can get messy, but it’s easy to clean up and the kids play with it for a long time. And it’s gluten free, unlike Play-Doh.
Jan. 23
The kids celebrate the 100th day of school by bringing in 100 of something (Henry chose marshmallows) for a big snack mix that the classes put together. Henry had his Friday, Ivy has hers Monday.
Jan. 24
Friday was the end of a long week, so it was a bath in the afternoon kind of day. And of course, the cats were right there in the middle of it.
Jan. 25
Erv fell asleep with his diggers twice on Saturday.
How was your week?
I had no idea that play doh had gluten in it. That sand looks like tons of fun.
It does, Leighann. Just another thing! But the sand is very cool, and we found this stuff called Play Foam that is also very cool and non-messy. I never liked Play-Doh much anyway. 🙂
This kind of "nothing much" is so the good stuff, you know? Love!
Aw, Erv is SO cute.
Super Erv and the diggers – so awesome. Looks like a very fun week! 🙂
Awww, those pics of Erv sleeping with this diggers. Makes me melt!
