Sunday was spent at Magic Kingdom with Laura, then I managed to get an extra ticket and sneak my way into a marathon weekend “after party” for TNT with some lovely Canadians (the Kansans went elsewhere). There were also some native Floridians there:

I left for the airport on Monday morning.
I got home from Florida to some wild and crazy kids REALLY not ready for bedtime.

Coming back to reality after Disney World was really tough this week. And I wasn’t feeling all that well….pretty run down. BUT, I held on to the “magic” as long as I could.

It was my mom’s birthday! And also Essie’s half birthday/”pretend birthday” at school. I didn’t take pictures of her treats, because basically, they were made by Erv and I the night before, and pink, and not particularly pretty or fancy. But she liked them:

It was the last day of a two-week stretch of solo parenting. This is how I felt until hubs got home:

My cousin got married on Saturday, and we all got dressed up because we never get the chance. And because we never get the chance, the girls and I went on a Saturday morning search for dress shoes and fancy toddlerwear.
I brought my Nikon to the wedding and started to take pictures at the reception. But, I quickly got frustrated trying to take non-blurry pictures in the semi-dark room, and put it away (the exposure on these is edited).
I hope you're feeling better!
Loved that you got dressed up. Always makes a girl feel better.
For the record, the Nikon pictures are great!
It's so hard to come down from "the magic" of Disney. It was nice to have a big, fancy event to go to though! Kudos on just putting the camera down and enjoying the party:-)
Love those pics of your sweets all dressed up! It's hard coming back from a great vacation; usually takes me at least a week.
Oh, I'm glad I found your post today. I'm doing a project 365, too and love how you tell a story in between the pictures – that's a great idea. I'm looking forward to the rest of your year!
