Hello! If youโ€™re stopping by from SITS Girls today, I want to say thanks for coming by, and welcome! Iโ€™m glad youโ€™re here.

If this is your first time here at GFunkified, I hope you brought your sassy pants.

Iโ€™m a stay at home mom of four, and I live out in the country in Kansas, surrounded by corn fields, and you knowโ€ฆ.cows.

Iโ€™m the co-host of a weekly link-up called #iPPP, or iPhone Photo Phun. Come back on Tuesday nights and join usโ€ฆall you need is a post with a phone picture in it (it doesnโ€™t have to be from an iPhone, thoughโ€ฆI donโ€™t have one.) We always have a great group of bloggers, both loyal and new, and everyone is welcome!

Weโ€™re a gluten free household here, because my four year old daughter has Celiac Disease and my six year old daughter and I are gluten-intolerant. Sometimes I talk about my struggles with it, and sometimes I share my favorite meals and recipes.

I was a proud speaker at Listen To Your Mother this past spring, and I told my story about what itโ€™s like being a widowed mother. (Cliffs Notes version: itโ€™s not easy)

Oh, and Iโ€™m a runner. I trained for and finished my first half marathon in September, and since then, Iโ€™ve been working hard to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training, with whom Iโ€™ll run my second half in January, the Walt Disney World Half Marathon. I also set and reached a goal of 500 miles this year, so that was a pretty big deal for me.

If youโ€™re so inclined, Iโ€™d love you to come by and see me on my Facebook page or Twitter, or my true love, Instagram.

(I donโ€™t take myself too seriously, so you donโ€™t have to either)

I hope youโ€™ll take a look around and introduce yourself, tell me a little bit about your blog so I can come by and see you, too! Iโ€™ll bring the coffee and gluten free muffins.
