It’s almost Thanksgiving here in the States! Here are some things I’m thankful for:
1. Pinterest. With the need to stay home and make our own gluten free Thanksgiving dinner, this is where I go to find all things gluten free and Thanksgiving-related.
2. A home that’s warm and full of chaos, love, laughter, bickering, sharing, not sharing, reading, tv watching, dancing, slumber parties every Friday night, and gluten free food that most everybody will eat.
3. Snuggly pajamas, warm coats and hats.
4. A husband that does the dishes and kids that help him.
5. All of the around-the-world blogging friends that I have when I’m missing real-life friends.
6. My treadmill (yes, you read that right), that I can run on when I have an 8 mile run scheduled for training and it’s not even 20 degrees outside.
7. Netflix, so I can watch Brad Pitt in Moneyball and other people in other movies while I’m running on the treadmill for an hour and a half (I never said I was fast).
8. Fuzzy kitties and dogs that like to snuggle (there’s definitely a “warm things” trend here, isn’t there?)
9. An upcoming weekend with my BFF. It’s been WAY too long.
10. My family, every crazy member. Especially these five (photo courtesy of Julie, last year at Union Station):
What are you thankful for this year?
Robin at Farewell, Stranger and I want to see your funny, your yummy, your heartfelt, your favorite phone photos of the week. All you need is a blog post containing at least one photo from any phone camera. Link up below!
I love those pictures, Greta!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
I'm grateful for bloggy friends like you. xo
Thanks, Kerstin!
Yay for all the warm things and snuggles and awesome online friends!
I am thankful for your friendship. Love you and Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Alison! Love you, sister.
Those hats! Oh my gosh, so cute!!
You are blessed, my friend and I am thankful for you as well! Happy Thanksgiving!!
xoxo
The hats, I KNOW. I am, Elaine, thank you!
I could just eat your little family up, you're so precious. Love the warm snugglies 🙂 I can't get enough of that hat picture, either.
Please don't eat us. 😉 The hats, I know. Too much!
I am spending Thanksgiving with 11 of my in-laws and every ONE of us agreed to eat dinner in our pajamas.
How grateful am I?
🙂
Enjoy, my friend. Enjoy.
Julie, you're BRILLIANT. My kids have been in the same pajamas for a week (when they haven't been forced to wear school clothes, but come home and change immediately), so there's a good chance that 1/4 of us will be dressed that way tomorrow. Have a great Thanksgiving!
I tend to think fondly of warm and snuggly things at this time of year, too! I am also very thankful for my treadmill.
I hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving, Greta! 🙂
Those hats kill me. Wishing you lots of warm snugglies throughout your holiday weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!
Have a great Thanksgiving!!!!
Hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving! Such cute pictures. I'm so glad the kids like the hats, they look adorable in them. I know for sure that I am thankful that we are friends!!!!
Those hats are SO cute!! Oh my goodness. And that is one good-looking family you have there. My husband and kid do the dishes sometimes – it is super awesome.
hahhahaha 6 and 7 Cracked me up. You've done amazing this year with running and you should be so proud. I love your list and am thankful for your list as well. A well listed family list! I hope you had fun with Julie!!
That's a lovely list of things to be thankful for. I'm envious of your treadmill lately as I'm getting so few runs in and there's no sign of that changing…
Psst, did you know you forgot to add your link last week? 😉
