I finished my half marathon yesterday….yes, yes, I did, despite poor health and neglected running legs. More on that later. But, though I’m not getting much done today, I’m sharing something with you that I’m really excited about.

I’ve linked up with #focusonmom before, because I love the idea of getting myself in the picture, even just to prove that I was with my family at an outing, or whatever. I want my children and grandchildren to see pictures of me when I’m older (or gone) and see what I was like. I started doing this more after Sarah started her self-portrait project, and love that Nicolette, Susi, and Melinda have a place to link up and gather with fellow moms-in-the-picture.

What I’m really excited about, though, is that not only have they started sharing a new Featured Mom each month, and I’m the very first one!

But that’s not all…Nicolette’s husband, Jon, and his company Jon Springer Realty, is generously helping me raise money for my Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training fundraiser, and making it so easy for everybody to help, too.
