I finally had a week that ended on a high note, thank goodness.
April 21
Sunday started out fabulously. I got to get away for our first Listen To Your Mother read-through. But then I came home to the dog that couldn’t walk.
This cuteness happened in the morning, though (and was somehow the only picture I took that day):
April 22
The first puppy acupuncture.
April 23
Tuesday was a challenging day. When I took the kids to school, it was sleeting. By the time I got home and settles, it had started snowing, and ended up snowing all day long. It made me cranky. So did this development:
April 24
I took the little two grocery shopping with me, so nobody took a nap. It was chilly, but we headed outside anyway.
April 25
My boy was the Student of the Week this week. I forced him to go to his classroom early to take a picture with the “H” picture collage he had made with his grandma (hence, the not-so-happy face).
What?! A nice, pleasant day? FINALLY. This girl, she doesn’t let anything stop her.
April 26
She took her very first field trip on Friday, to the local post office and bank. Exciting stuff for a kindergartner.
April 27
The WARRIOR DASH! A day I’ve been looking forward to/dreading for the last six months. It seemed so far away, and then all of the sudden, it was here. Stay tuned for details. (No, I didn’t get my free beer. But I deserved one.)
So glad your weekend ended well! That's a good sign that next week will be awesome.
