Welcome back to #iPPP! Mama Mash and I want to see your funny, your yummy, your heartfelt, your favorite phone photos of the week. Link up below!
If you’re on Facebook, you’re probably sick to death of hearing about what I (and lots of others) are thankful for this month. But, I try to take the time every November to look past the exhaustion, the tantrums, the working late, and all of the other negatives, to see the positive.
I’ve had a rough week, y’all, so I kind of feel the need to do this.
Because really, I am a lucky girl. So, I’m going to tell you (mostly in pictures, because that’s what I do), what I’m grateful for in 2012.
There’s so much more that I’m thankful for: my parents and my family, the kids’ grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, my friends, technology, a warm home and hot water, this blog of my very own, the people I’ve met (in real life and virtually) as a result of this space, reality television, the library of children’s books that we own, the teachers that care for my kids every day, the food on the table (whether I screw it up or not), the leftover Halloween chocolate in the freezer, the Gluten Free resources we have access to that makes it a little easier to feed my girl and keep her healthy, music at my fingertips, cars that get us there safely, and all of the other things I could go on and on about.
What are you thankful for?

Love the pictures and I have been following your thankfulness posts. It's true – there is so much to be thankful for.
One of the things I'm thankful for is having met you 😉
Aw, thanks, Kerstin! The feeling is mutual. I've actually had a couple of days this week where I just didn't post about it, because I was just…down. So, I decided to write about a bunch of it together. 🙂
I am a fan of thankfulness and gratitude so no apologies needed!
I am thankful for the privilege of staying home with my children. I am thankful to my husband for putting up with my blogging and all it entails, and listening to me talk about 'my friend from <blog name>" all the time. 🙂
RIght?! ME TOO!
You are a brave woman to enter the world of minecraft!! Remember the small blocks that make up our daily life is a grand way to spend time. You have such awesomeness in your family! I love seeing it!
Thanks, Ducky! I haven't officially entered the world of Minecraft….I've never played it. But I have tried to start it up for him, and I have DEFINITELY listened to a lot of Minecraft talk!
I'm so clueless, I don't even know what minecraft is?? I like you am thankful for our health, spending some time with my college age son and heat. On and on. Little blessings that are really the most important.
I'm clueless, too…I have no idea how to play. I just know that you can build maps and buildings and all kinds of other stuff. And there's zombies. On that note….have a great Thanksgiving!
Love this, you!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loves!
xo
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Galit!
Great post! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Kelly, you too!
I am thankful for all of the wonderful bloggers I've met this year! And yes, that means you guys 😀
Aw, thanks, Mama! The feeling is definitely mutual!
Minecraft totally intimidates me! Heard it was fun though. Don't we have SO much to be thankful for?
I only pretend to listen anymore…I have no idea what it's about. And yes, yes we do.
I'm Canadian, so I celebrated Thanksgiving a month ago – but I love thankful thoughts any time of the year. It is always good to remember all the wonderful that we enjoy every day.
Isn't it? Some days I have to think hard (you know those days), and other days, you couldn't stop me if you tried. Deep down, though, I know I'm a lucky, lucky girl.
This is just lovely 🙂 I'm thankful for the same kind of things –w ell, I mean, fewer kids, but still the same mentality. Because life is hard and nobody promised it it would be easy, but we all have it pretty darn good. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lovely family!
PS while you guys are IPPPing about thanks, I'm doing more tutorials :-\ I'm still thankful 😉
EXACTLY. We all have it pretty darn good. Have a great Thanksgiving, Amanda!
It's always good to take a step back and remember what we have to be thankful for, even when things are a little tough 🙂 I'm thankful for the same sorts of things you are – and those are the really important things, right? Love your pictures, as always.
Thank you, Katie. Yes, those are the important things. And the not so important things all add up, too. 🙂
You have a beautiful family and so much be thankful for!
I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Jackie! Yes, I do have so much to be thankful for. SO much. Even on the days that I can't quite remember it all. 🙂 You have a lovely Thanksgiving as well!
Kids are lovely!
My boy has tried to teach me about Minecraft — no success. But he's a champ at it. 🙂 Hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend.
