It’s been kind of a boring week. This was the third week of school, and I still am not used to getting up early! Please tell me that it will get better?
Sept 2
Erv and I got up before anyone else and make gluten free french toast.
And then…..Labor Day celebration!
Sept 3
Actual Labor Day. Spent cleaning the garage and other random organizing.
Also, cleaning of the baby
And way overdue swimming!
Sept 4
Baby plays the blues. (The cheeks! The chubby fingers!)
Sept 5
My boys. This was one of those, spread-four-baths-throughout-the-day-days. The boys were last.
Sept 6
Possibly my second favorite picture I‘ve ever taken of Big Erv. He has the most amazing hair, especially the morning after a bath.
Sept 7
This is the old barn I pass every morning when I take the kids to school. Usually, I see several gigantic black birds sitting on top. Today, there was just this little one.
Sept 8
All week long, I’ve been promising the kids that on Saturday (today) we’d get out the fall decorations and decorate the house. Well. Henry and I went in the attic and all we could find were the three metal pumpkins that go in the garden. SIGH. So, now I’m in Pinterest, searching for autumn/Halloween decorating crafts. Lord, help me.
Yeah, so, this week was apparently very Erv-heavy, and it was also hard for me to choose just one each day. Sorry?
What did you do this week?
I'm frantically looking for fall decor too. I've never decorated the house for anything. Well, just Christmas which involves the tree. I'm terrible at it. But this year, with the new house, I so want to. But now I'm overwhelmed with all the pinterest ideas out there. Sigh.
I love that picture of the barn.
I baked and cooked all week – made granola bars. caramel sauce, oatmeal choc chip cookies, sea salt choc cookies and lemon cookies.
Yeah, we're a gluttonous household 🙂
I don't think I ever get used to the early morning hours. I hate getting up when it's still dark out. I love the shot of Erv with his bed head… so cute!!! 🙂
Erv does have some great hair. And I've been wondering when to brave the attic for the fall decorations. I guess it's about that time. I'll wait till we get a day that's not blazing hot.
That doesn't look boring at all! I use my griddle every day. Can't live without it. 🙂
Erv's hair is amazing – I was just noticing it on instagram yesterday. I've been thinking about cutting Brinky's hair (not myself because I couldn't handle that, but taking him to get it cut) but it's just so cute!
Love the morning hair!!
My week… lame. Lots of work and more work.
