A gorgeous, breezy 79 degrees.
Sunshine draped over soft, green grass.
Dirt full of wiggly surprises.
A plastic house full of nothing but little kids with gigantic imaginations.
A Saturday with nothing better to do than run and play.
Linking up again with Jessica and Natalie for Essence of Now, and Alison and Galit for Memories Captured.
Awwwwww! It was hot where I was. 🙁 And not nearly as cute.
I know, I thought about you that day, since it was one of the first really nice days. At least it stayed nice!
I LOVE no agenda days!
I love it when we have fun and don't get crabby (going outside is key for that!).
I absolutely love the words and the photos, of course I do.
But the fact that you had no agenda and just went with it and enjoyed and played and had fun? Now *that* is stunning.
{Also? Worms! Eeeww! My kids love them, too! One more time: Eeeww! :)}
Hee hee! My kids go back and forth about the bugs. Sometimes, the freak the heck out. Sometimes, they want jars for their new "pets" (I had to reject the worm-pet proposal this time).
I love days with no agendas, sometimes it's fun to just let the kids be and see what fun they can have.
Exactly. And when it's nice and we're not cooped up inside, it make for some fabulous days.
I love days like that… I wish that they happened more often.
I know. They don't usually work out that way. So when they do, it's perfect!
Those are the best ways to spend Saturdays. Agenda free and full of imagination.
Absolutely. One of the reasons I love fall so much…the weather is perfect for just getting out and DOING.
Love the plastic house! We have a similar one in our backyard. The girls love it.
As for your photos? Fantastic! Your kids are so cute 🙂 Looks like a lot of fun was had.
Thanks, Bruna! They love the house, too. We've had it forever, but somehow it got put in the dog's fence so only the dogs were enjoying it. We moved it out and the kids play in it almost every day after school.
That is the perfect way to spend a Saturday! Glad you guys had fun!
Isn't it? Plans are fun, but then the expectations are high. When the weather is nice and we can go out and just enjoy the day (and our imaginations), it rarely goes bad. 🙂
Those are the best days! Love it!
They really are! Sun, and breeze, and kids entertaining themselves. Ahhhh.
Those are great pictures! Looks like a really fun time.
Thanks, Rach! That's the nice thing about using my real camera….it's much easier to get action shots!
What a fabulous day full of great photo opportunities! So cute!
Haha, you know me too well, Jen! Yes, once I saw the fun they were having, I grabbed my camera. 😀
