You may have seen my #kidvacation date night outfit on Instagram last week. On Friday evening, it was only about 90 degrees, and got cooler as the sun went down (obviously).
Normally, the only “shoes” I wear in the summer are flip flops, different colored flip flops, and maybe an embellished pair of flip flops. But since we would be inside for most of our date, and the weather was nice, I decided to step out of my flip flop box a little and try something new.
Yeah, I live in the country and have ridden horses before. But I’m not a cowgirl by any stretch of the imagination. I do love these boots, though. Aren’t they adorable?! They’ve got the prettiest pink and blue stitching over a gorgeous vintage-looking leather. And they are comfy. I have extraordinarily large calves (I normally have to special order my boots, y’all), but these 11 inch high ones were perfect.
I can’t wait until fall when I can wear them all the time (or, maybe I just need to find a few more dresses…)
Do you know what else I love? Country Outfitter, where I got the boots, is a Fayetteville, AR based company, which just happens to be my first college Alma Mater. Woo Pig Sooie!
And YOU, my lucky readers, have a chance to win a $150 gift card to choose your own pair of fabulous boots!
I was not compensated for this post, but CountryOutfitter, a retailer of Justin boots, sent me these Justin Arizona Mocha boots to review. All opinions are 100% my own, as is my long-time dream of owning a stylish pair of cowgirl boots.
Look at how cute you look! I love the boots. It makes me wish that I lived in the country and rode horses. I really think there is a country girl trapped in this "stuck in suburbia" girl. LOVE that your date night looks a lot like my date nights. 🙂
I absolutely love love love your boots! You looked beautiful on date night by the ways! I really hope I win!
Yehaw cowgirl! Love your boots you sassy thing.
Very cool! I have super-size calves that really restrict my boot options, so it's good to hear this worked on yours if you usually have trouble. I like the look of the Marlee boots – Golden Condor. But I could look at the choices forever!
I think I'd either get the Kady or the Durango. I need black boots with a low heel. These are so cute!
I want a pair of Ariat Distressed. I had a pair I loved so much, but they were destroyed in a flood. 🙁 Love those boots and that dress, Prairie Girl.
The Corral Turquoise Cortez!
I like these Ariat ones: http://www.countryoutfitter.com/products/27992-wo…

It's between the Ariat Fatbaby II boot and the Durango slouch boot. . .
