Just ten short months ago, I was dragging my then-five year old into the school. He didn’t want to go, and he certainly didn’t want me to leave him there.
Wednesday morning, I dropped him off for the last day of kindergarten. He was infinitely more confident, only needing his kiss on the cheek and a “have fun! See you at 2:00!”
He sang the songs, performed the motions, even kept cool when his cap got knocked off of his head.
I’m so proud of my oldest boy. He made me a mom, and continues to amaze me every day.
Happy graduation, Henry!
You are going to ROCK first grade.

Ten short months ago, I was dropping Ivy off at preschool and trying not to cry while she ran off and played, never looking back.
Last Friday, I took her in to that class for the very last time.
I really didn’t think she would participate in the program songs….she’s painfully shy sometimes and gets embarrassed pretty easily.
But, she wowed me.
Okay, maybe the motions were a little smaller than some others in her class, but she did them.
Ivy, you’ve grown and learned so much this year, and I am SO proud of you.
So sweet. Your kids are adorable. So so cute. Lucky mama!
I can see how much they've grown in just 10 months! Congratulations to both Henry and Ivy and HAPPY SUMMER!!
Wow! Look how much they've grown in a year! your son looks like a totally different kid. So crazy. Time goes too fast!
This makes me so proud of your kids and makes me look forward to when my son starts school!
And look how much they've grown in a single year!
I love this, and they've grown so much!
Ivy and Abbey would be friends 🙂 I know exactly what you mean when you say her movements were a little smaller, but she did them.
