It’s been a rough week (see the fourth picture). Here’s the week in photos.
Feb. 5
We had our second snow of the entire winter, and first one that stuck around (for a few hours, anyway). By the time I got outside (at noonish), the only snow left was in the shade. This is the week’s only picture that I took with my fancy camera.

I told you that I was going to start exercising to get fit…on this particular day, Ivy wanted to, too.
Feb. 8
We took Essie to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City to talk to the pediatric GI doctor. She was such a good girl, even giving blood for a test. But it was naptime on the way home.
Feb. 9
Ballet class with a substitute teacher. First toe-pointing ever.
Feb. 10
“Mama, I writing on my computer.”
She had the play table and chair set up, a magic wand for “writing” and a little metal pencil box opened up for a laptop. I died from the cuteness.

Chocolate chip pancake time.
