We made Hello Kitty cupcakes.
We were ordered to say “Happy birthday, Ivy!” for the 24 hours preceding, as well as the 24 hours of.
“Miss Ivy’s Mom” shared part of her preschool day with her, and beamed.
She blew her bangs up and stared at the table while they sang a happy birthday song to her.
She sat with a special teddy, ate out of a special cupcake holder, off of a special place mat.
It was a special, fun day. And July 25? It will be special and fun too, when our little girl turns five.
