Our little family did some serious celebrating Christmas weekend. And by “serious”, I mean….totally tame but lots of fun for the six of us.
We introduced the kids to clam strips at Red Lobster and then went to see the big light display in Topeka (and I found another reason to love my new camera…I can take pictures in a dark car and they’ll come out!).
We went to the Christmas Eve service at church. The kids were in their pajamas (since it started at 8:00 pm and the drive home is 40 minutes long).
When we got home, we set out cookies and coffee for Santa (we just didn’t think milk was going to cut it)
Christmas morning, the kids declared it “the Best Christmas Ever”…and that was before AND after opening their presents.
