The kids are gone this weekend. They went with my parents to AR, to see their other grandparents while my parents visit my brother and his wife (happy birthday, Misty!). I haven’t heard much from them, so I hope they’re doing okay….they’ve all three had a cough and runny nose this past week, but seemed to have been doing better. Until Friday night, when they spent the night at my parents’ and Ivy was up crying all night, saying her ear hurt. So then, I had to decide, do I keep her home from Nana and Papa’s house and definitely ruin her weekend, or give her some medicine, hope she sleeps in the car and hope that she doesn’t ruin everybody’s weekend.

T. and I went out yesterday and watched two movies, with dinner in between. It was nice to get out without the kids and enjoy two things that won’t happen again for a long while. Today, we’ve gotten a lot of cleaning done, and there’s been A LOT of basketball on TV. Yay for March Madness…I took a nap.

Speaking of T., I almost feel sorry for him. Almost. My sense of humor has completely disappeared (hopefully to return in a week or two…fingers crossed) and somehow, he’s got more jokes than usual. Unfortunately for him, some of them include rips about my comfort level and my ability to deal with it. If I didn’t know better, I’d think he’d never lived with a nine-months pregnant chick before. But he has. No excuses. We may need a mediator before Thursday rolls around.

And just because I was looking through pictures and found these from just about 20 months ago, when E. Belle was born, we’ll take a little trip down memory lane. I can’t believe that this time around, E. Belle is going to be one of the “big” kids in the hospital, meeting her baby brother!

This was JUST after we brought her home…Ivy was checking out the swing while Henry was checking out the pump…both highly entertaining!
Ivy meeting her baby sister…they both look so tiny!
Henry making himself at home in my hospital bed.
 My little snuggle bunny.
Proud daddy and delirious mommy.

Three more days and we’ll have brand new hospital and newborn photos to share!
