It’s official. I can’t wear my wedding ring anymore. Like, ever. Better find a pawn shop. Ha! Just kidding! When I was pregnant with the big two, I got so swollen in the middle of the nine(ten) months that I couldn’t wear shoes, let alone my wedding ring. But with E. Belle, even in the middle of summer, I was wearing my ring right up through the delivery room and beyond. I guess this time around, it’s somewhere in between. Good thing I have a jewelry collection from which to pick another one! (T.’s not a fan of me not wearing a ring. But I’m pretty sure people don’t notice my finger with this belly in their faces.)

I also have started getting heartburn. Again, I’m thankful that it’s happening in the last month and not three or four. I know a lot of people don’t believe the heartburn/hair connection, but I totally do. And if Bean’s sister is any indication…

What else am I thankful for this time around? That maybe it’s starting to warm up a little. I can not get my real shoes on! Not even my imitation Uggs! Not without grunting like a stuck pig! Thank goodness for flats, and weather semi-warm enough (or body temperature high enough) to wear them.
