I just got back from Henry’s little parade. His preschool class went around the elementary school to a bunch of classrooms, showed off their costumes, and sang a little song about pumpkins. I walked in to his class and they were sitting at their desks…he was in a daze, looking pretty tired…
They lined up and practiced their song a couple of times before heading out into the hallway. He still hadn’t noticed I was in the room at this point.
Finally, walking out, he saw me!
They all looked really cute! And they even got some candy and little Halloween novelties from a few people (spider ring, anyone?).
I left to get back to the girls right before his party (the girls were with grandma…just wanted to clarify). I think that even though he is in a daze, he’s actually having fun and taking it all in. He just has a funny way of showing it. And he came home with a backpack full of goodies, so he’s a little more awake now. 🙂
