I have three future rock stars in my house today (and a lot of noise). The big two have been fighting over the Wii guitar for the last 30 minutes, and gracing us all with their “music”. Mind you, the game isn’t turned on, so all of the noise is coming from their sweet little mouths.

Ivy’s song goes something like this:

Fwinkle fwinkle wittle star
How my wonder what you are
Upa upa world so high
Likes a diamond ina sky.
Pwinkle pwinkle wittle star,
How my wonder what you are.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably be saying it for a long time…I can not keep clothes on these children.

Last night she had the guitar after supper, and she said something like “It’s too loud, my can’t rock star.” I didn’t know “rock star” was a verb, but now I’m more informed.

Henry sings renditions of songs he learned at preschool (I think) but changes up the words a lot (mostly English, some made up).

E. Belle just walks around and sings “waa waa waa” while the other two are singing and playing. The other day she had the instruments to herself, though, and got to play.

She’s a little small for the guitar (I think she might fall over if she tried holding it), but she is remarkably good at the harmonica. I know it’s an awful picture, but she was rocking out so hard that I couldn’t get a clear one with my phone camera.

Maybe someday we’ll get them instruments that make actual noise when you play them…like when they’re moving into their college dorms or something.
