So….I’m way behind. I have three posts to write, but I’m going to take it one post at a time as not to overwhelm myself or you guys.

First of all, it’s been a week since we went to Arkansas and left T. here all by himself. I won’t say what T. did or didn’t do, because it’s a little bit of a touchy subject (whether he knows it or not). He did clean the kitchen. That’s all I’ll say.

The kids and I and my parents had a good time, though. I drove down there by myself a day early for my first jewelry show. Driving by myself was….heaven. Oh my gosh. It had been a LONG time since I’d taken a trip like that alone. I listened to the music I wanted to listen to, stopped when I wanted to (or kept going when I didn’t want to stop!!), and made very good time. And, I didn’t have to listen to Scooby Doo or Wubbzy or Cinderella from the back seat the whole way, which is A BIG DEAL. And when I got there, I had the hotel room to myself ALL NIGHT LONG. Again, heaven.

The four jewelry shows I had in those four days went well. Between them and squeezing in time with as many of my family and friends down there, it was kind of exhausting, but it was fun and worth it.

The kids got lots of quality time with their Arkansas grandparents and very little sleep. Ivy even had a throwing-up-of-strawberry-milk incident, but the clothes and the car seat were washed and everyone survived.

There are even ladies who want to have a show (or another show) next time we’re in the Natural State, so I guess I’ve done my job!
