When the girls were performing at the high school football game for their spirit clinic, I took the opportunity to take some pictures. The sun was quickly setting and I was having fun trying some shots.
I took this while a few band members were playing the National Anthem.
And the boys getting ready to play…
Then at the pumpkin patch this past weekend, I got a few shots of the kids.
I love this one because Erv was in the middle of some serious pretend play in the cab of the combine….I like the candidness of it.
And the rubber duck races.

Through The Lens Thursday is a self-improvement photography project that Alison of Writing, Wishing and I are doing this year.
Don’t forget to join our Flickr group or share your own posts if you’d like to follow along and work on your own photography! And use the hashtag #throughthelensthursday to connect with others working on it, too.
Next week’s prompt is STRIPES.
Love the angle on the last one!
Thanks, Alison! You can totally see me practically sitting on the ground to get it, right?
great photo's. I especially love the first one!
Thanks, Leighann! That's my favorite.
Nice sunset shots! I really like the focus on the ducks coming down the shute.
Thanks, Clare! The only thing that would've made it better is if the duck hadn't toppled over. 🙂
[…] of my favorites from 2014 were Play (especially the first shot of T holding Ervin), Sparkle, the sunflowers for Golden, our new puppy […]
