I really liked this prompt, and if I wanted to, I could share fifteen different photos for it. As it is, I’ll narrow it down to, like…seven.
The weather this past couple of weeks has been really nice and mild, and we’ve had a few days of rain storms. So, the grass that had been drying out and turning brown (and what it would look like for all of August, usually), turned mostly bright green again.
Also, the kids, since just before school started, have been crazy about swinging on the swing set. Every day, they want to swing. The day I took these action shots is the day the oldest was at a play date with his best bud, so the girls were doing crazy “stunts” on the swings.
I also took these shots of Erv’s boots and this plastic gardening fork sitting in the wheelbarrow and a little leftover rain water.
Then because I couldn’t help myself, I tried to get shots of the dewdrops and spider webs (that are everywhere) in the morning.

Next week’s prompt is TEXTURE.
You can totally see how much fun your kids were having here and my girls are the same when we go to the park. They totally love all there, especially the swings, too. 🙂

I love the action shots!
The spiderweb is awesome too.
Beautiful green pictures. You made me want to sit on a swing and jump off… like in the good old days of my childhood! I love it!
The great outdoors is definitely the best kind of Green!! But that spiderweb tho…. So Amazing!!!
That's an awesome shot. I am rather fond of the green shovel in the barrel though too.
Very nice spider web shot! I adore the jumping and swinging photos of the girls, so much lovely movement. I used to love to swing as high as I dared then jump off!
LOVE the spider web shot, that take some talent girl!
These are ALL great but I especially like the second action shot and the spider web. Nice job, girl! 🙂
