It’s unfortunate that this prompt came the first week of February. I haven’t seen a flower for months!
So, I made Ivy put a flower in her hair (she chose neon orange) and stand in the cold for a minute and a half while I took her picture.
Through The Lens Thursday is a self-improvement photography project that Alison of Writing, Wishing and I are doing this year.
Don’t forget to join our Flickr group or share your own posts if you’d like to follow along and work on your own photography! And use the hashtag #throughthelensthursday to connect with others working on it, too.
Next week’s prompt: DULL
Her expression matches the humour of your words perfectly! 🙂
Thanks, Jennie! We were both shivering and cracking up. 🙂
Thank you for reminding me what a flower looks like! And your daughter is adorable. I love the smirk 🙂
I know, right? Flower? What's a flower? Thanks!
Love this photograph of your daughter. I agree. Her expression reminds me of you. 🙂
Thanks, Jamie….she acts like me sometimes. It's a little scary. 🙂
Hah! She's like, dude, seriously? 🙂
It is gorgeous – the picture, Ivy.
Thanks, Alison. She's a good sport (thank goodness) but she was ready to get back inside!
She's a little flower herself. Love it! 😀
Thanks, Elaine!
This is beautiful… what a doll she is.
She's an ornery doll, that's for sure. 😀
flower girl is perhaps not impressed? LOL
but she still looks lovely and I LOVE it because she choose my favourite colour! 🙂
my girls would love your flower barrette – but they would not stand in the cold for me either – good job!
Haha! She wasn't impressed but she was a great sport! She LOVES neon. And accessories. 😀
