Today was a long week. That’s all I have to say about that.
April 14
My mom and I ran our second 5K of the weekend, stupid early on Sunday morning. We survived (barely) but we actually did get pretty good times. And we got to be divas.
April 15
Our last playdate with the Mash family for a long while. You can sort of see all of my kids (it was the best I could do).
Mama Mash did get a picture of me snuggling with my littlest best bud, the Mouse.
April 16
Because of the Boston marathon tragedy, the Twitter party for the big announcement of the Mamavation moms was canceled on Monday night, and they made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon instead. I wasn’t chosen for the boot camp. I’m okay with that now (I think).
Spring seems to have disappeared for a while, after it made a brief week-long appearance. It’s been cold and windy and rainy for most of the week. But, the pear trees bloomed, so there’s that.

And then, on the longest day in recorded recent history, this guy refused a nap at grandma’s house, so he came home and was up all afternoon. This week pretty much exhausted me.
Wish I was closer!
To hand you stiff drinks and help keep the kids occupied 🙂
Hope the new week will be easier.
Love those portraits! And the blossoms – I am counting the days until we get to see some blossoms in our neck of the woods. Hope the coming week will not seem so long.
You just have to love Ivy's drawings of the two of you! Congrats on completing your 5K while looking fabulous!
I love that you and your mom run together! I'm glad your long week is over and hope for spring and naps for you all this week.
